Winner of the 2015 Costa Rica Retreat Photo Contest

This year marked the second year of our Costa Rica Writing Retreat photo contest.

Here’s the lowdown:

Whoever could take a photo on this year’s retreat that best captured the spirit and experience of the retreat and also represented our #WritersLife social media campaign message, would receive a FREE Write Your Screenplay workshop.

Well, we are pleased to announce that the divine Monda Webb is the recipient of that award. Her winning photo collage is posted above. Want to see more? Check out the large compilation of photos that she and our other writers from the retreat contributed.

We also encourage you to follow her on Twitter and support her short film Zoo (Volkerschau). Thanks to Monda, we were all treated to a special screening of the film on the retreat. It was gorgeous and heartbreaking and we strongly encourage you to watch it, should it come to a festival near you!

Congratulations on the contest AND the success of Zoo, Monda!

HONORABLE MENTIONS

We had some wonderful submissions for this competition. Here are our five honorable mentions (two by the same photographer). These four lucky writers will receive a ticket to our upcoming industry seminar: How To Get Producers, Agents, and Manager on the Phone.
